Robot can not pick correctly the parts

If your robot never reaches correctly your defined pick point, check these steps:

  1. Check that the hand-eye calibration was done correctly (calibration accuracy must be bellow 1mm).

  2. Check that the part height is correct, especially when using a special plate (refer to part height).

  3. Check that the camera and the picking area surface are orthogonal and centered.

  4. If all the previous steps are correct, the issue is likely due to an insufficient working distance, due to the perspective error. In this case, you need to increase the working distance. After doing so, you must repeat the Camera configuration wizard process to readjust the focus, verify that the camera is properly centered, and input the updated working distance.
